Veterinary Talk - Dr. Cathy Johnson-Delaney, DVM DABVP of Eastside Avian and Exotic Medical Center in Kirkland will present on the topic of disease prevention in pet rats and be available for a question and answer session after her talk. Dr. Johnson-Delaney has been in practice for over 25 years and has given lectures and presentations around the world on medicine for exotic species.
The Psychology of Rats - Mercer Island psychologist and rat fancier, Dr. Kim Lampson-Rieff, PhD, gives a talk and PowerPoint presentation on the psychology of rat keeping.
RatsPacNW Rat Pet Show - See some of the Northwest's finest strut their stuff. Categories include kissyest, squishiest, longest tail and most unusual markings.
Rat Fashion Show and Costume Contest - It's Project Ratway as contestants face off to see whose rat couture is the audience's favorite.
Remy's Culinary Challenge - Think you know what a rat's favorite flavors are? Test your rat culinary knowledge as a panel of hungry rats gets to select their top dishes from a variety of common foods.
Rat Race! A Race Course for Rats - cheer on your favorite runner to victory
Pea Eating Contest for Rats - How many peas can these champion eaters down in one minute?
Pea Fishing Contest for Humans - We all know how much fun rats seem to have fishing for peas, now it's time for their people to prove they can do it too!
Rataoke! - Sing along to some cleverly doctored popular songs that now feature rats prominently in the lyrics.

A fabulous raffle will be held in the afternoon and a cakewalk with toys and prizes for the winners will be taking place throughout the day.
There will also be presentation displays throughout the show arena featuring information on basic rat care, diet, bedding, toys and games - including a demonstration playground for rats, rat development and growth, lifespan, health issues and veterinary care, breeding, genetics, showing, the history of the rat fancy, rats in literature and much much more!
Azizi welcomes the presenters and wants to know who brought treats.
