One-Eyed Willie
Early April 2000 - February 16, 2003
This beauteous buccaneer comes to us from the petstore feeder bin. Though she may not look so tough in her photos, she took on a snake and won! She was sold to a not so swift snake owner who put her in his serpent's tank and then left. Well, contrary to popular belief, the food often fights back and Willie did some major damage to the snake before the owner noticed and intervened. She was returned to the pet store and, when I heard her tale of adventure from a sympathetic shop clerk, I knew I had to take her home! Born with only one eye, this lack of binocular vision never stopped Willie's thirst for adventure on the high seas of cheese! She loved to go out and visit and was Wilhelm's very special own personal rat companion. Despite her high status as Captain of the PiRat Ship Ruckus, the Dread PiRat Willie was as sweet and gentle a soul as you could hope to find. Always the first to welcome a new rat or human into the fold, Willie was one of the most endearing little creatures we've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
