Una is awesome. Nicknamed Goona, she is one of our absolutely most fun pets. I shudder to think what would happen to Una if the drug companies got wind of her existence - she's better than Prozac for making a bad day better. I whined her away from Lizzy after we lost her sister Larimar at a shockingly young age from a raging ear infection that three antibiotics could not contain. Losing Larimar just left me so heartsick as she was such a gem and I felt so much like I'd failed her. Una is not quite like her sister, but she's just as wonderful in her own special goofy way and I will spend the rest of her life giving her all the love I had for Larimar. My little goon is unlikely to win any rat beauty contests, but I would not be surprised if she's the rat among my crowd who steals the most hearts. She's already got mine.
