Toby was found in the feeder bin of our local petshop. Being a handsome dumbo boy with a stellar "take-me-home" personality, we couldn't just let him stay there and possibly become a snake snack for Slytherin, so we snapped him up and brought him home. To be more precise, Kerrie nabbed him and was aided and abetted by Lynn who acted as wheelman for the rat heist. Wil ought to know not to let us go into Petco unattended. Toby seemed to enjoy his life of ratty luxury here, though his constant attempts at escape from his cage made us wonder what else in life he might have been seeking. Toby had more spunk in his little beige body than an animal ten times his size. Our little feeder boy made it to two years of age, despite having respiratory issues throughout his life. He never complained about medication, shots or vet visits and suprised us all with how long and hard he fought to stay alive and healthy.
