Silvered Mink Dumbo

As you may notice from the photos, Stoju was my little brown clown. He was also a wicked little nose biter (in a cute, non-painful way) in his youth and fantastic manicurist. He was a Texan by birth, like his dear departed cagemates Sam and Trotsky, but I think there was more of the rodeo clown to him than the rancher or the Texas Ranger. Hanging with Stoju was like having natural Prozac around and it was nearly impossible to be grumpy in his presence. Even when he passed on, he did it gently - he died quietly in his sleep after being held much of the day by his favorite people. Though we miss him so much, it's not a painful missing, but a lovely feeling of having had such love from him that it will never leave us.
