Small and sleek and active with flaming red hair, Satine was a near carbon copy of wild and wooly mama WWR Lucille but also could be as sweet as her father, ROUS Andre. Our lovely girl was named for the beautiful red haired courtesan in Moulin Rouge because she could dance the can-can. Alas, she never demonstrated the power to lure Ewan McGregor to our house, but I forgive her. And we aren't the only ones who agree she was a sparkling diamond - Satine took home a Best of Section prize for standard ear berkshires at the March 2003 RatsPacNW show and earned the title of Champion for her score of 98. She is also the proud mother of ROUS Rio and ROUS Rufus, who are as good looking and frisky as their memorable mom.
