Sarah Jane surprised the heck out of us by delivering one single baby. I was fairly sure she had another false pregnancy but put her in a maternity cage to make sure she didn't have any bleeding or show signs of illness or distress. Her due date came and went and I was going to return her to her regular cage when I heard eeking coming from her igloo. There was no blood and no mess - just one single perfect tiny pinkie nestled into the polar fleece. Sarah Jane has been an extremely attentive mother and wee tiny Rose has grown into a feisty, perky, ridiculously cute and tiny creature.
