Mr. Monty was a real pleasure to pet and quite visually appealing as well. Though he could be quite stubborn about certain things (like taking nasty medicine when he had an abscess on his cheek), he was generally a very affectionate mellow fellow who loved to pile into his hammock with the rest of his cagemates. Monty was a quiet soul who nonetheless made a very strong impression and he leaves behind very fond memories for many people. I like to think of him happily napping in his hammock somewhere where it's always warm and where there are plenty of snacks (and no foul medicine) readily available.
