Believe it or not, this giant of a rat started out as the runt of his litter! But, he made up for it by growing up to weigh over a pound and a half and following in his giant father's ample footsteps. Moby thought, as you can see by the uppermost photo, that he was Batman, a dark avenger of the rat cage. A keen explorer, he did enjoy hiding and lurking and jumping out at us "villains" when we tried to imprison him in his cage. Despite the fact that Moby often expressed his inner goth, he remained a loving and affectionate fellow. He took over from his father as alpha rat of his cage while in his prime, but ruled with a firm and fair hand. He also seems to have had a knack for passing on some gorgeous rexing to his offspring, so we gladly forgave him his curmudgeonly ways.
