Lilly was the Dowager Duchess of the ROUS Castle. Also known as "She Who Must Be Obeyed," Miss Lilly demanded respect and the royal treatment due to a personage of her stature. Lilly was retired from breeding at Curly Whiskers Rattery in Boise, ID due to the fact that she much prefered being a princess to being a mother. Constant begging and whining on my part convinced Heather and Michelle to part with her and I will forever be glad it was successful. I was Lilly's devoted servant and court jester, bringing her extra special treats and performing song and dance numbers for her enjoyment. To add to her already enormous ego, Miss Lilly took home the gold at the very first Ratapalooza winning Best in Show and Prettiest Pet Rat. Plus she was featured in a story in the Seattle Times along with a lovely photo of her which still proudly hangs in the vet's office to this day. She also loved to visit the video store and run errands, wearing her cold weather cape, of course, in the winter months or hanging out in her regal rat pouch. Lilly left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who met her and will be sincerely missed and always remembered, much like a naked little Princess Grace.
