The "Spooky Magic" litter was named for a favorite book of mine when I was a kid. It detailed how to perform a variety of kid's magic tricks. In light of that, all the babies were named for famous magicians. Genetics appear to have played a bit of a trick on me with this litter - my rex babies may well turn out to be hairless despite there being no record of hairless on mom's side of the family. Time will tell whether or not four of these guys are truly hairless or just doing some truly funky rex molting thing before growing in their curly coats. Uncle Shadow did something like that, so I guess we'll just wait and see! Klee is an amazingly attentive mother and has been a real champion milkmaid. They are growing very nicely and weaning well and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of this much desired litter of agouti cuties, even if it was a bit unexpectedly naked.
