Kismet earned his name because he was just meant to be an ROUS! I was lucky enough to be on a waiting list for a ritten from this marvelous litter from Ratty Rascals RSCL Razzmatazz and MAR El Capitan, who I coveted madly, and when my turn came to choose, I opted for Kismet's sister, RSCL Tarot, since I felt that I needed more ladies as I had a rather disproportionate number of fellas to gals. Yet, Kismet was the one who really caught my eye, with his odd and lovely perfect circle above one eye and unusual color. But, fate prevailed, and when I went to pick up Tarot, LeAnn casually mentioned that Kismet was available. Well, the rest is pretty obvious. Kismet was a total sweetheart as well as being a handsome masked man and I loved having him with us. As you can see, he was a holiday loving rat - arrived on Halloween and departed on New Year's Day. Kiz never produced any offspring, though not for lack of trying. He was a darling old fellow, even through his last few months as he struggled with respiratory problems. At least he loved his cherry-flavored baytril. Cagemates Spooky and Niles will miss him greatly as he was always the peacemaker between those two cantankerous old grumps. I will miss him greatly for his gentle ways and delicate whiskers.
