This wise old soul is the backbone of our lines. Enough wonderful things cannot be said about Keoki. He was the light of my life since I adopted him from LeAnn at Ratty Rascals. His ways were friendly and gentle and his great love in life, besides his mommy, was food. Though often the first out of his cage to explore, even in advanced age, Keoki also really did like to sit and do "rat yoga" in the office meditation corner. He also "helped" with feeding time every evening by making the rounds with me to dole out the goodies. Keoki often won blue ribbons in his class as well as "largest rat" and "longest tail" in the fun pet categories. He sired two marvelous litters who have enriched the Northwest rat population a good deal, and, so far, all of his kids' and grandkids' owners that we keep in touch with say that their ratties are certainly following in their father's and granfather's footsteps. Keoki also has the distinction of being the reason that Ratapalooza was started as well as being the founding rat father of one of the best ROUS lines. All in all, he was the very finest of rats and my best friend.
