Fawn hooded standard
Goldberry was surrendered to me by a young man at the youth center where I work. He could not keep her at the shelter he was staying in and wanted her to be safe and in a permanent home. Of course I said yes and Wil took it quite in stride when I presented him with yet another litle stray ratty in a box. Goldberry was the eternal alpha and was forever trying to escape to the boys' cage for a romantic interlude, but spaying seemed to mellow her out quite a bit. She had three husbands after that, Manny, Farley and Spooky, outliving all but the last. She also acted as foster grandma to Fenny and Lobster J, who turned out very well (and with a healthy respect for their elders.) Goldberry's third birthday party was quite a blast:
