Gherkins is just about the best little rat buddy any human could ask for. He's a snuggler, a kisser, a great outgoing social fellow who gets along with everyone he meets. He can be a touch of a diva with the other boys in his cage - he thinks he's the boss and, for the most part, the guys humor him. Gherkins is my mascot for the RatsPacNW pet shows and takes his species ambassador duties very seriously. Everyone who meets him has been charmed by him, even folks who are not so sure rats are pet material. He just wins them over with his chubby, fluffy, cuddly ways.
