Gherkins is awesome. You cannot help but break into a smile when this little field mouse impersonator comes bouncing up the ramp to play. Gherkins is a tiny perpetual motion machine on crack who is intensely cute and knows it. She uses her cuteness as a clever ruse to trick you into letting her do basically whatever she wants including swinging from the blinds, escaping the cage, taunting the other rats and eating junk food like wasabi peas. I want to learn this trick myself. I could get away with murder!
