WWR Hieronymus Gawn Son of WWR Wilber and Chi 4/19/2002 to 1/24/05 Silvered Black American Irish Satin Manx This little hamster butted monkey was the light of my life. Gawnzo was my personal secretary and was one of the only ROUSes with the privelege of hanging out on my computer desk. He was paid in iced tea and other beverages, which he drank by sitting on the lip of the glass and immersing his upper body. Needless to say, once Gawn had claimed a drink as his own, it totally belonged to him! Gawn really enjoyed outings and was a huge hit at neighborhood block parties. He conned numerous people into giving him cheese on toothpicks and a good time was had by all. Gawn was quite the little acrobat despite his lack of a balancing tail and enjoyed giving his mum a heart attack by running across the railing of the balcony!

Gawn injured his scrotum either through wrestling with a cage buddy or rubbing his bottom on a rough spot on the cage and had to have the area sutured back together to preserve the family jewels intact. Well, Gawn being a fusser and a picker, opened the incision area and ended up with a rather nasty looking little area back there. As a result, we had to take him back to the vet, have the area debrided and a safety collar made of x-ray film placed on the little stinker to ensure he would leave the area alone to allow it to heal. We also get to cajole him into taking the hateful disgusting cherry-flavored Baytril to prevent infection and, best of all, we get to rub ointment on his very personal area twice a day. If anyone ever doubted my devotion to this little monkey, this should prove my love for him once and for all! Below are the shocking true life photos of "Satellite Dish Boy" as he moped around the medical cage trying to escape his humiliating collar. The upside of the situation is that he can now get HBO and Showtime by leaning his head to the left or right.
