Ella Que Bella is a gorgeous creature from Texas who is just full of beans and ready for any adventure. She may look dainty, petite and elegant, but this girl is a powerhouse of ratty personality. Ella just has this gleam in her eye like she's always up to something. Hugo comes to us from Missouri and is a long lost son of the Northwest who counts the well loved Lightning line in his pedigree, along with some new blood from California. Hugo is a dear, sweet soul who is the best couch rat I've ever met. I can't imagine not having him next to me for CSI on Thursday nights or Angel on Wednesdays! He's so polite and well behaved that he can be trusted not to chew the upholstery or use the potty inappropriately. Hugo is also really quite good about sharing popcorn with me and the cats. This litter should be very sleek and lovely, and should have both dumbos and standard ears in slate blue and platinum. Even Becky at Spiralrat Rattery who works exclusively with dumbo eared rats admitted a certain desire to steal Hugo from me when he was boarding at her place.
These are the biggest newborns I've ever seen! Ella delivered one platinum girl and three blue boys in the early afternoon of May 6, 2004. They are fat, pink and incredibly healthy and mom is doing very well. Ella is a world class champion nester and has even tried (unsuccessfully) to use her tail and my hair as nesting material. Ella even took on Momo's three babies when Momo had to have her emergency hysterectomy and has been doing an absolutely stellar job with her adopted children. I figure Ella must lactate pure butterfat given how chubby these little children of hers have grown up to be.

Catherine is a veritable clone of her mother, save for having her papa's lovely standard ears. As you can see, she's got no problems with cats as Pyxel watches over her (watched over by me, of course.)
