Meringue Dumbo
Darjeeling was one of the first official meringue colored rats in the RatsPacNW club standards.He was also very firmly lodged in my heart as one of the sweetest, dearest rats I've ever known. DarBoy and his brother Doyle were inseparable and Dar was always so sweet and welcoming with any new boys in his cage. Though a bit of a scaredy rat about noises and cats, Dar was always soothed by being snuggled up in his mama's arms. He left us due to a stroke and was, mercifully, never ill prior to his passing. His son Pekoe lives with us and is carrying on his father's legacy of loveliness.
