Black baldie double velveteen dumbo
Clark, named for the Clark Bar candy with a nod to a famous Clark who wears heavy black glasses and is pretty "super," was just too darn cute not to keep. It also didn't hurt that he kept hurling himself at the side of the nursery cage to get to me from the time his eyes opened. Clark seemed to be pretty content to have stayed at his alma mater and bonded so strongly to his cagemates who took such good care of him in his waning months. Being a double velveteen, Clark constantly grew in and shed out his fur so he frequently looked like the victim of a nearsighted barber. He was truly a darling boy, both inside and out.
