White Dumbo Rex
Named for the handsome and talented David Bowie, this gorgeous creature charmed nearly everyone who set eyes on him. He resembled a cloud of cotton candy and felt like a security blanket - nobody could resist him, even the ratophobic. His fur was snowy white and his eyes were cherry red, a truly stunning combination, though his actual genetics were a mystery. Not only did he have his namesake's good looks, but he also had that air of nonchalant charm and his magnetism as well. Bowie was very like his well known father, Keoki, in so many ways and was doted upon by all who know him, especially his "mom." He was a terrific "uncle" to his three younger cagemates, Dulce, Farley and Kimo and they became known collectively as Uncle BoBo and the Junior Woodchucks. Bowie took a big part of my heart with him when he passed from the same genetic cancer that claimed his brothers Vicar and Zeek, but I would not trade a moment spent with my dearest darling boy.
