Nani demonstrates a hula technique to say "aloha" to you.

All babies are blue dumbos, like mum and dad, and are from the Keoki lines. Both parents are calm and sweet and of a large, robust size and very healthy. Unfortunately, we had three instances of megacolon in this litter, despite it being a very careful breeding of a high white husky to a self. We are still not sure why it happened, and as a result are planning to change some of our husky breedings so that we can breed out the high white genes that are linked to megacolon while keeping the robust size, general good health and fantastic personalities of Keoki's line going for generations. All of the megacolon affected babies in this litter died or were put to sleep. The remaining eight babies are all healthy and normal but will be going to pet only homes where they will not be bred so as not to run the risk of passing on the genetic defect to future litters. Bleu will also be retired as a breeder and not have a second litter since she is the husky parent. Nilo, a self, will continue to be a part of our breeding program, but with our non-husky lines only.
