Blaze came to us when a rattery in eastern Washington was unable to keep its rats any longer. We were very happy to have added Blaze to our complement of rodents and he was a total joy to have around. He was a large, mellow, older gentleman with a very even temper and a love of snacks as you can see from his photo in which he's enjoying a small bit of smoked gouda cheese. A perfect epitaph for Blaze would be "he was no trouble at all" for his easygoing nature and gentle ways were always a pleasure to have around. Blaze was a true gentleman and is missed.
