Van Dalmatian
Ani was the perfect start to van patterning in our ROUS lines - not only did she have lovely markings, but she was plump, healthy, robust, friendly and cute as the dickens! Ani was also a bit special looking as she was missing half her tail because her mother mistakenly nipped it off when she was born. That never slowed our active girl down one bit, though! She loved her first cagemate, SPR Dear Prudence, who she looked up to as a big sister (and stole food right out of her mouth!) Ani was so full of energy and was a complete and total clown at all times, even after a serious ear infection later in life left her a touch tiltly and wobbly. She was everything I could have asked for in a rat and established a wonderful line of her own that continues to today, through Sharona, Mira and now Nola. Ani certainly passed her zest for living down the line and I see Ani reflected always in the sparkle in Mira and Nola's shiny little black eyes.
