Pearl Merle Velveteen

Darling Ducky was the apple of my eye. He was not only stunningly handsome and very unusual looking, but he was also a sweet, sensitive little mama's boy who liked to snuggle up with his designated humans. He had some light merling, including an adorable "kissy spot" on his forehead. His whiskers were adorably crinkly and stuck out at odd angles. His favorite spot was in his hammock, sticking his nose out of the hole he'd chewed in the side, cuddled up with his old buddy Spooky, with whom he lived out his final days. Though he was terribly nervous and shy with other rats, he was finally won over during his last months by ancient Spooky and they were inseparable right up to the very end. Rest well, my darling Duckus. Spookus will join you sooner than we'd like.
