Info: Alicia Claudio at MusicalDreamerX@aol.com Physical Description: Black Hooded Standard Ear and Coat Physical or Behavioral Issues: None of the boys have ever had any health issues. I contribute this partially to the fact that I don't use any artificial perfumes or fragrances in my household. They were vet checked a while ago before making our cross-country move last month. They love fighting over large pieces of food that I give them, but they never hurt each other. :) No behavior issues have been noticed. They all get along very well and are very sweet to each other and humans.I rescued some pregnant feeder mommies from a petstore I was working in for a short period of time. These rats came from a "breeder" but I do not know their full history. Mother and Father are both living with me and are as sweet as can be, just like their babies. I am willing to travel anywhere in the Pacific Northwest and possibly further to find these boys great homes. |

Name of Rat: Baby Boys Approx. Age: 2 months Gender: Male Location
in WA: Spokane Contact
Info: Tori Bumbeck
at littletori@yahoo.com Physical Description: Various colors, standard ears, some curly coated Physical or Behavioral Issues: These are fantastic baby rats! They are well socialized, healthy, and absolutely beautiful! Our mother was accidentally impregnated right before we got our last rescued male nuetered. We are going to keep all the girls to live with their mom, however, we can not afford to handle any of the males(We already have 18 permanently homed rats with us). If there were more hours in the days to spend with all of them we would keep them, it's just not possible. We definitely want to find good caring homes who have the time, money for vet visits, and the love to share, because these little ones are used to a lot of love! |

in WA: Bellingham Contact

at ilovemyrats@hotmail.com Physical Description: Blue Self Standard Ear and Coat Physical or Behavioral Issues: Very picky eater (thin), but otherwise very healthy. She has gone through several attempts at being introduced to all my other girls, both as a group and individually. And it has been decided that she just can't live in the company of other rats. She responds well to people and will take food gently. She needs someone who has an extra cage just for her. I can not afford another cage. I want her to have a good home where she gets plenty of attention. |

Posted: 8/23/04 Name of Rats: Many Approx. Age: 5 months - 1.5 years Gender: Both Location
in OR: Portland Contact
Info: Chris at adopt-rats@braintango.org Physical Description: Multiple types Physical or Behavioral Issues: Male rat (9 mos) had to have one eye removed due to what is believed to be trauma from cage mates at Petco, female rat (5 mos) had to have her left leg removed for unknown reasons (before current owner). Both rats' problems have been properly dealt with and all rats in this pack are in great health according to the owner. Rat without left hind leg gets around fine. This is a pack of 6 rats which I am posting proxy for their caretaker. There are 2 sets of sisters, one set is 1 1/2 yrs old blue hooded, second second is about 1 yr old. There is also 1 Male rat (9 mos) and 1 female rat (5 mos), both with previous surgery (noted above). Would prefer to have them all adopted out to the same owner, as they have been together in the same cage all of the time and are bonded. The current owner is apparently having a problem with her mother/roomate disliking the rats and throwing fits about them. This is in Vancouver, WA so also appropriate for Portland, OR residents. I will be cross-posting it in the washington area as well. Unknown if owner would be willing to deliver, but probably within reason. These kids deserve a good home. |
