Physical or Behavioral Issues: No health issues. Mother is lactating, all babies are growing quickly.Mother is very tame (we are keeping her). Babies are being handled daily to make them great pets.We have 13 babies, 12 for adoption. (I am keeping 1 female). Total litter is 7 males and 6 females. By the photos sent already, you can see there are 3 dark skinned boys, 4 light skinned boys, 3 light skinned girls, 1 dark girl, and 2 mixed. I am thinking of keeping the hooded female. I will know for sure in time if they are all hairless, and will update. Right now it seems so, as their whiskers are curley. Mother is hairless and was adopted already pregnant from a pet store. Father is unknown.

Physical Description: Blue Agouti Dumbo and Mink Blazed Dumbo

Physical or Behavioral Issues: These ratties are at the SPCA and I don't know anything about their background. I haven't seen them myself, but I don't think there are any health issues. Kris and Kringle are described as "very friendly". Kris and Kringle are are at the Maple Ridge (BC) SPCA. I can provide transportation within the Greater Vancouver region (see below). These boys are about six months old and have been waiting a while to find a permanent home. They are very friendly and their coats are the most beautiful colours. Kris is described as Silver Blue (he may be Blue Agouti), while Kringle is a Mink Husky - luscious brown with a cute white nose. The boys are best friends and want to be adopted *Together*.
Unfortunately, the Maple Ridge SPCA is having a RODENT CRISIS right now! :-( They are swamped with rats, hamsters, mice... so I don't know what the future holds for these beautiful boy rats. :-(
Here's a link to some pictures of the boys on Petfinders. Scroll down the page until you find "Rat - Young M - Kris & Kringle". Click on the names to see the pictures:

Physical Description: Black and white, some dumbos

Physical or Behavioral Issues: I haven't seen these rats in person, but I haven't heard that there any health issues. They look great in the photos.Mother is an adult described as "very friendly". Babies are very young, perfect age for adoption. If I'm not mistaken, this litter of babies was born sometime around Christmas. They've been in a foster home, but by the time you read this they should be available for adoption at the Maple Ridge (BC) SPCA. Call ahead to the shelter to make sure:
604-463-9511.
At last count there were 4 males and 4 females. Most of them appear to be Dumbos! Some babies are black, some black-and-white. The mother is a strikingly marked brown agouti hooded rattie (standard ears), also available for adoption. Unfortunately, the Maple Ridge SPCA is having a rodent crisis right now! :-( They are swamped with rats, hamsters, mice... so I don't know what the future holds for this adorable family. Here's a link to some pictures of the babies and mom on Petfinders. Scroll down the page until you find "Rat - Adult F - Mama rattie" and "Rat - Baby - Rats, Rats, Rats".
